Honeymoon photographer in Nice
The wedding photographs are somebody else’s job. This is the week afterwards, when the dress comes out one last time and nobody is watching.

The session
The week after is not the wedding
On the day itself you are managed: photographed between two other commitments, aware of a hundred people waiting. A week later, on a shore at seven in the morning, none of that applies. It is the same two people in the same clothes and the photographs do not look remotely alike.
That is the whole argument for this session, and it is why it exists as its own page rather than as a line on a wedding quote.
Three coasts within twenty minutes
The pebble shore gives water, light and space. The old town gives ochre walls, shutters and narrow shade. The hills above the bay give the view everybody recognises. They are close together and completely different, and a single session can hold two of them without rushing.
Sunrise is not negotiable in summer
Between June and September this coast has one usable hour for photography in public, and it starts before most people are awake. We will send you the exact time for your dates. Couples who move it later come back with holiday snapshots.
Around it
The couple photoshoot page covers the same session without the honeymoon framing, in any city we work in. Couples marrying inland before coming down to the coast should read destination wedding in Provence.
Price
From €220 for about 1 h 30, with the full grid on the pricing page. A deposit of 30% holds the morning.
What holds you back
The questions people hesitate to ask
- We already have wedding photographs
- You do, and they were taken on a day you barely remember, surrounded by people wanting your attention. This is the opposite: an hour and a half where the only two people involved are the two of you, several days after the adrenaline has worn off. Couples consistently say the results feel more like them.
- Do we have to bring the dress?
- No, and roughly half do not. A session in linen and bare feet on a shore at seven in the morning is not a lesser version of the same thing; it is a different and often better one.
- The beach is pebbles, not sand
- It is, and it photographs better than sand: grey and ochre stones, clear water, no footprints. What it demands is something on your feet for the walk down and a willingness to be slightly ungraceful for ten seconds.
- How busy is it really?
- In August, the Promenade des Anglais at eleven is not a place anyone can be photographed. At half past six the same stretch is nearly empty. Everything we say about timing follows from that.
- We are on a cruise and have one morning
- That is a session. Give us the port time and we will build a route close enough to it that the walk back is comfortable, and we will not schedule anything that risks your departure.
How it runs
How it works
Sunrise, and only sunrise
The promenade belongs to a handful of runners at half past six and to several thousand people by ten. In summer there is no second-best hour here; there is the early one and there is nothing.
Three quite different coasts
The pebble shore, the ochre streets of the old town and the hills above the bay are twenty minutes apart and look nothing alike. One session can hold two of them.
The session
A walk with photographs in it. If the dress is coming, it goes on last and comes off first, and we plan the route so it never has to cross the whole city in the heat.

Questions
Frequently asked
Do you cover the coast beyond Nice?
Villefranche, Èze, Antibes and Menton are all within a short drive and each has its own character. Travel outside the city is quoted before you commit, and for one of the hill villages we would suggest a longer session to make the drive worth it.
What is the best month?
May, June, September and October. July and August are workable at sunrise and difficult at any other hour; winter light is low and beautiful and the whole coast is quiet.
Can we do this before the wedding instead?
Yes, and some couples do. The couple photoshoot page describes the same session without the honeymoon framing; the timing advice is identical.
