Maternity photoshoot in France

The usual window is between about twenty-eight and thirty-four weeks — late enough to be visible, early enough to be comfortable standing for an hour. Beyond that, comfort falls away quickly, and a session booked for a single fixed date three months out often lands in the wrong week. Book a fortnight and settle the day nearer the time.

Indoors or outdoors is genuinely your choice rather than ours. At home in window light is quieter, needs no travel and suits anyone who does not want to be photographed in public while pregnant; outdoors gives more variety and more space. Both are the same price and the same seventy-five minutes.

A partner and older children are included, not charged as extras — a maternity session is frequently the last photograph of a family at the size it currently is, and pricing that as an add-on has always struck us as absurd. Thirty-five retouched photographs arrive within 48 to 72 hours.
